In my life I’ve learned that photography is so much more than a snapshot of a moment. Instead, photography is envisioning an idea, creating a feeling, and presenting my own perspective to the world. As an artist, photography enables me to concretize my vision and give it life. It solidifies my creativity through images that become memories. Memories that will never die. By all means, photography not only has given me the ability to bring my visions to life, but it has also taken me on a journey across the world. The longing to explore and experience breathtaking destinations all around the globe and use my work to capture those moments is what truly empowers me. My photography is my passion, what I yearn in life, what gives me absolute joy.
This image is very dear to me, a photograph I was able to create just as I envisioned. The views of the “Wild West” appeared in front of me as I entered the Valley of Monuments, like I became part of a classic Western film, and what a sight. Monument Valley has been one of the most magnificent views I have experienced as an artist. One of those destinations so picturesque it made me feel at home, like I was meant to be there, exploring that valley, experiencing those emotions, and taking that photograph at that exact moment. A moment in time where everything stood still and perfectly entrapped my vision. An unforgettable instant frozen in time. The best part of photography is not only showing the world through my perspective, but also giving my viewers the opportunity to create their very own narratives.
