This 325 CE white wine is the oldest bottle of wine in known existence. This wine was created by the Romans in the Speyer town of Germania during their years of ruling. This wine was originally found in an ancient tomb of a Roman Nobleman in 1867 and is now on display in a German Museum. With many experts worrying about unsealing this bottle, the exact contents are still unverified, but many speculate the grapes used were ancient ancestors of the German Riesling grape. This wine is said to have also been infused with various herbs and a layer of Olive Oil sits on top which has allowed this wine to survive as long as it has. Many believe this to be still drinkable but the flavour might not be too palatable.
